Thinking of selling in 2019? O’Donnellan & Joyce Auctioneers want to hear from you and will value your property for FREE.

O’Donnellan & Joyce Auctioneers are launching their March auction next week. This will be the first auction of their 2019 ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ property auction series. O’Donnellan & Joyce Auctioneers host seven property auctions annually and 2019 is no different. This year there will be an auction on March 1st, April 18th, June 7th, July 19th, September 27th, November 8th and December 13th. They are currently looking for properties for all auctions throughout 2019. Each property auction has a wide variety of properties from all along the western seaboard and Wild Atlantic Way, including private auction sale and also a large number of receiver properties.

O’Donnellan and Joyce Auctioneers are currently taking registrations from interested sellers until Monday 28th of January for their ‘Wild Atlantic Way Spring Auction’, to be held on Friday, March 1st in Harbour Hotel, New Dock Road, Galway. There is a large portfolio of properties already registered including properties in Knocknacarra, Newcastle, Renmore and the city centre. These properties are ideal as an owner occupier and also investment properties. There are also a number of rural properties from all over the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East including Donegal, Roscommon, Leitrim, Mayo, Limerick and Waterford.

O’Donnellan & Joyce’s live auctions is the largest in the country with 410 properties on offer in 2018 culminating in a total of €48m in sales with a 92% success rate.

Colm O’Donnellan of O’Donnellan & Joyce outlined that “people have now become very comfortable with the process of buying and selling at auction. The benefit to the seller is that you have a reserve price (a minimum price that is acceptable) and once this is achieved you are on the market to sell to whoever the highest bidder is. Once the auction hammer falls, the contract is immediately signed.” This gives sellers security that their property will be sold at a price they are happy with and once the contracts are signed the property is sold, it takes away all the uncertainty of a sale.
